In harmony with the world...

Events and happenings in one's life are most often hinged on other events. Call it cause and effect. In this case, I had said to a co-worker that if we didn't work on Sunday, I'd go to church. Well, it's funny how I ended up not only in church, but as a guest in Bible study as well...
It was Saturday night, and the fact that we didn't work on Sunday influenced my decision to go out on Saturday. I almost didn't go, because a week full of twelve hour shifts had worn me down. I wasn't in the best voice, either, because I had been subject to temperatures alternating between warm and extreme cold.
The urge to sing trumped the urge to sleep, it turned out. Well, I sang, but I was also enamored of a certain gal who sang after me. After a bit of deliberation, we wound up singing together, and talked a whole lot more after closing. I wanted to see this woman again soon.
How soon was it? Well, it's odd that someone you meet in a bar can be the one sitting in church with you the next morning. And to tell you the truth, I really wasn't dragging my tail, either. Somehow, I had a new pep in my step, a new glide in my stride, and a glow all over me that I can't get rid of even now.
I'll definitely post more when I know more. Suffice it to say, I'm happier than I have been in a long while. I hope I can sustain this...I'm enjoying it!
