In God I Trust Now and Forever

I received this email recently and I forwarded it to my email list of friends... I feel that strongly about this... Normally I'm so afraid of offending people I don't forward religious emails...  I am ashamed to say that but that's the truth...  Anyway I decided to post this and let you make up your own minds how you feel about it....    <>You may have heard in the news that a couple of Post Offices in  Texas  have been forced to take down small posters that say 'IN GOD WE TRUST ,' The law,they say, is being violated. Anyway, we heard proposed on a radio station show, that we should all write 'IN GOD WE TRUST' on the back of all our mail. After all, that's our National Motto, and it's on all the money we use to buy those stamps. We think it's a wonderful idea. We must take back our nation from all the people who think that anything that offends them should be removed.   If you like this idea, please pass it on and DO IT. The idea of writing or stamping! 'IN GOD WE  TRUST' on our envelopes sounds good to us . WE'RE HAVING A STAMP MADE TOO! Heck,lets use it as our signature on e-mails too! It's been reported that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore, we have a very hard time understanding why there's such a mess about having 'In God We Trust!' on our money and having God in the pledge of Allegiance. Could it be that WE just need to take action and tell the 14% to 'sit down and shut up'? If you agree, pass this on, if not, delete!!! BUT REMEMBER IF YOU DELETE THIS,thats 1 reason why this world is in the mess we're in now.WE SIT BACK & LET IT HAPPEN!! This email has a message I appreciate.  I don't want to tell anyone to shut up... but as Richard and I were discussing recently... we don't understand how we have allowed the voices of the few to be our voice... We do believe in God... Personally we want our share of the tax dollars that are spent on educating our young people to go to faith based schools in similar proportion as to public schools, that can if they can keep their doors open, have their non faith based curriculums... I have a feeling that if we gave people a choice... faith based over non faith based the public schools would be the ones in danger of closing... A moment of silence... I picture a teacher instructing the students to offer up their prayers of thanksgiving and their special needs to the God of their faith... No one should say mine or yours is the only way... but we shouldn't be told there is no way... there is no God... because there is a way... and there is a God... and I gratefully accept that my ignorance is abysmal... I don't have to and can not comprehend all the awesomeness of God... I just know He is... I believe that Maureen O'Hara and those who think like she does have gone a long way toward taking our children's faith from them... and I want Him back for them and their children and all the future generations... How desolate the world is if we close our hearts to Our Father... Does anybody think the world is a better place now than it was 30 years ago...  I don't... I'm concerned... and so I know some might not appreciate this email and I do apologize... please just delete it if you find it offensive...
