IN DC---Very Good Book

We had a very nice trip from Chicago by train. We left rainy cold weather and arrived in DC with nice weather...and again no TSA (yea). We meet some interesting people in the dining car. We were surprised by the number of British on the train. Unfortunately, we did not meet any of the Brits due to the sitting arrangements in the dining car.
Now the book...On the train I finished "The Happiness of Pursuit" by Davis Phinney. Phinney was a USA Pro Cyclist who was diagnosed with PD when he was 40 years old. Davis road in the Tour de France, the Giro, Coors Classic and many other international races. He uses his victories and losses in cycling as a metaphor for his fight against PD. I am a huge cyclist fan so I am very aware of Phinney. The book is moving and inspirational. It brings tears and laughter. Davis Phinney fights PD or "The Body Snatcher" as he refers to PD. He now raises money for PD research and is very active with the PD "Tribe"...his term. Michael J. Fox also recommends the book. How can you go wrong on a book recommended by me and MJF!!!
