In Brazil
So we made it to Brazil yesterday. We left calgary on Sunday - we were up at 4 am! We arrived in Miami at 6 pm. Yesterday we were up at 3:30 am!! Luckily we arrived in Manaus at 1 pm and we're able to sleep in. We did a city tour this afternoon. Tomorrow we head for a jungle lodge. I am excited. I just hope we don't see snakes!
so I won't be on fmo much for the next three weeks, though I do not Retire as early as joe so may pop in to see who's what. I am loving the heat and humidity.
Lisa: you would love it here. There is a mini zoo at the resort here with the most magnificent macaws. Or perhaps you arranged for them to greet us. They are definitely noisy enough.

Jungle Lodge??? I am so hoping you will post a picture of that. My little pea brain can\'t immagine what it would look like, lol. I don\'t know how you slipped away on this trip and we didn\'t know about it.. You know how nosey i am, lol...

So very nice for you to get away during the winter here in Calgary, it\'s -28 with windchill this weekend, we got moved but in the NE instead of Tuscany!!
