In between
I moved in with my friends brother and his wife until I find out whether or not I got approved on a house. I have decided to give a relationship 100% in order to settle down and find some sort of peace. My auto is packed to the brim. Yesterday I opened the back door and I had forgotten my change bowl was near the door and the bowl and the change where all over the concrete next to my car at work. I thought what an appropriate way to start a Monday.
Im hoping to hear about the house today. I really like the neighborhood. I will be nice to settle into a new place and meet new people and finally slow down enough to develop myself as I haven't been able to do this since my divorce. At 47 years old I'm a essentially a empty chalkboard just waiting to fill it with new experiences and hobbies. I might even start a new quilt for the bed. Ive always wanted to make one but haven't had the patience nor the time or place to make one. It's also a good time in this move to purge the old baggage. This move is sort of a metaphor for me.
Work is going good, I got hired permanantly and the insurance will kick in 1st of July. I have spent the last 2 weekends moving so I am low on energy during the week, guess I need to dig my vitamins out and start taking them.

I dunno. . . Pretending I am rich enough that I can afford to throw money around sounds like a good start to a week. Can I fake it till I make it? Sigh. . . Putting credit cards back in their hidey hole. . . At the very least a good escape fantasy helps ease the pain of days where life is not quite what I planned.
Yay you for staying calm under pressure. Gentle support while you work out those gory details.
Luckily I picked up all the change-I save all my change. But... that bowl. I don't think Ill find another one like it. Sigh....
