In about a week
In about a week I will take a trip to PR to finalize the sell of the piece of land my and my ex have over there. We bought this property back in 1993 with the intention of building a home there, but the place now stands as a testament of a broken marriage. The house was never finished, it looks like something that nobody took care of. Is strange but if you stand in the front of the property you feel sad.
I had to call my ex to tell him we got an offer for the land. To my surprise he asked me to do all the paper work by myself and he will give me a power of attorney to do all transaction. Which is so much better for me because I was dreading having to deal with him. The lawyer now is drafting the paper work and hopefully by the time I get there is just a matter of signing everything.
Al and I have not heard anything else about the house insurance other than that the adjuster who was in charge of our claim died. So we are still waiting in that regard.
I miss my bike, biking the Father Capodano blvd was the highlight of my days. When the weather was nice it was truly beautiful. My bike is all rusty now I wonder if I can just changed the chain. I will try maybe after my trip.
K my daughter calls me daily and after the sale of the land am considering giving her some money. Altought I don't know if I will give her all the money or just part of it and keep the rest in an interest earning account for her later.
Al remains a great guy, tonight we are going out for a birthday party of a friend. Al wants us to dance and we have been practicing. I got a new outfit-thanks to the clearance section in H&M-and we are ready...

I hope you get the insurance money soon. Do get yourself a new bike. I had to use a POA when I sold and bought a house. It\'s doable. Just make sure the POA is worded the way the atty. wants it.
