Improvement

I heard from the National MS Society that your body does grow new myelin to replace the damaged stuff(the new myelin is not as strong, but at least it is there).  I have also heard that your brain can find new pathways around the damage.  I do not know what Copaxone does exactly, the way I understand it, it gives the part that does the damage something else to do while the repairs are being made.

Yes that is true! The CRABs are a way to slow or hinder the immune system so your body can heal itself. The bad side to this method of treatment is that your immune system has to be suppressed this way (so that it stops attacking the CNS or at least attacks the CNS slower). I hope you don\'t experience any extra sickness or organ damage because of Copaxone....as far as I know its the safest one to use outside of the Beta-Interferon.
