improved lung function

Had a great appointment with the respirologist yesterday, my lung function has improved back to the level it was in May.....yay for me!!!!
of course I had to do some retail therapy to celebrate, got my self a new pair of boots and some pants....spent way too much but it was such a great day!!!
I had an acupuncture appointment befoe i went for the lung function test so I wonder how much that helped out, doesn't really matter it worked thats all that counts.
I got all my bulbs planted this weekend too....made Hubby dig all the holes for me so I didn't get too winded. I think I put in 5 dozen or so....should look great come spring. I have a few more beds to clean out and the flower pots on the deck and I am done for fall.
When I got home from the appointment it was time to head to the theater for 'Cakes and Classics' one night a month they show classic movies and serve decadent desserts with a glass of wine for $10.00. This year it is all oscar winning movies, we saw Camille last night. All I can say is movies have changed over the years....can anyone say overacting.....lol It was good though, I do love old movies. Next month 'How green was my Valley', haven't seen that one before.
well i am going to try and get halloween decorations up today, we put up the spider web and spider on sunday and a few of hubby's crow decoys, now for the ghost and the jack o lanterns.

You sound wonderful! Excellent news.
I wish I had that \'Cake and Classics\'. I love them both, but only the cheap Lambrusco wine for me please.
I planted 50 bulbs my daughter gave me last year and they didn\'t bloom this year? Not a one. Maybe this spring they will. Then I had a pretty vine come up this year, some say it looks like a clematis. I\'ve never planted a clematis and I\'ve lived here 12 years. Sorry to ramble off here.
Again, so glad to hear you are doing so well!

I saw the title of this entry and this slow dial up couldn\'t open up the window fast enough for me. Oh I am sooo happy for you. You have worked very hard for this good news and deserved to spoil yourself with the boots.

Someone was mocking my acupuncture in another group saying that it only helped with the spirit. Obviously he has never had acupuncture. I don\'t need to defend it, just enjoy it. Although she gave me a real good hurting last time. I got her back during the application of the pins in my big toe. It was like lightning shot out of it and she felt it. The longer you receive it, the better the benefit each time.

Could you please come plant my bulbs for me? Not a one of mine came out this year. I suspect that I planted them too deap. The rain and snow covered them with more dirt. I hope you take pictures when they all bloom. I\'ll just live vicariously through yours. lol

Love ya,

Kim

GREAT WONDERFUL NEWS!!! And you know how I feel about retail therapy! Go for it!

Interesting tidbit of info... Do you know what you call a group of crows???
A \"murder\" ... no joke... a gaggle of geese, a herd of buffalo, a den of lions and a murder of crows.... who\'da thunk it??? LOL My contribution to your Halloween crows!

Since we are moving by next spring and I have no one to get to dig the holes for my bulbs, I guess I will be with Kim waiting on your pics.

Peace, Love and Hugs
