just finished doing evaluations for ten employees at work. have two more to do. it keeps things in perspective. like if someone is pissing me off i'll usually pull out an evaluation to gain perspective and make sure its not me being an asshole. they are here to do a job, doesn't matter if i like them or not. half of any job is actually attendance - like getting there, and then not being a sabateur and then hopefully getting the job done within reason - properly. some people are a pleasant surprise when these are done, and its like, oh wow, didn't even realize how well they do and others are enough to just-pass but that is all. they should have a minimum of a 6 out of ten, total score. its a total and then divided by 12 (12 items). its pretty basic. most people are around an 8 out of ten. i'm pretty liberal on points. and some you have to add points to the bottom score, because the work they do is harder than the work someone else is doing, so you add-on a standard amount for those doing that kind of work.
when i was young, i used to get in trouble for two things, not socializing at work (WHY would any office want that? seriously. can't believe they used to have that on old evaluations. nowadays, you only have to have the polite/cordiality thing going and that is all. and for playing my music loud, even with head phones/ear nibs (people can still hear it if its blasting. lol. nowadays noise in general bothers me so the music thing is generally gone except in my own car). doing the job itself is the easy part, its all the other crap - is the reason people end up gone or leave, if a person can't even do the actual job, why show up at all? seriously. the worst is if you have a boss that is a bully, there is TONS of stuff written on that - bullying in the workplace, and bullies are usually thieves as well or worse - total criminals actually. criminals who haven't gone to jail yet, or sometimes you discover some of them HAVE and its like, why are you here then and in charge, which is even crazier? its helpful because its closure knowing most people go through a lot of bullying at some point, but its sick that people like that are allowed to exist at all.
got caught in a rain storm last night. sudden actually. and unexpected, first light rain and then it was pouring, tropical storm style but without the wind. checked the computer to see when it would end which looked like 2 a.m. should have waited it out. e says, its 2 "p.m." NOT. anyway, ended at exactly 2 a.m. (how do they know that?), and ended up back on the road anyway because i had to bring something back up. grrrr. weird day. the engine light is on again. i am wondering if its because they keep putting in the wrong oil. i requested semi-synthetic with a coupon and TWO times in a row the shop i use SPECIFICALLY for their semi-synthetic coupons gave me sae 5w 30, which is the wrong one and they did this even WITH the coupon. wth? this happened with my camry as well the first year i had that car, and when i switched to a bigger place to do the oil, the engine light thing went away. i'm pissed though because i had a coupon both times so why screw with it - they used to change it properly for the camry but the place has a new owner too so ... a long time ago i had a place that wasn't changing the oil filter and the same thing happened with the engine light. they would SAY they changed the filter, but they never did. wonder if its anything like that? how do we know what they do?
so its a little chilly again.
If you end up going to an emergency room you end up at the closest hospital, even if its a bad hospital. I called two of my friends to tell them I was in the hospital and not coming over by them. They tried to call me back to visit when i called them and the hospital told them i wasn't there. my friend starts screaming at them saying, she just called me from your hospital its on the caller i.d. lol. omg! when js tried to visit they didn't let her in because my room mate had so many visitors (her kids and husband). super noisy too. hmmm, what does that have to do with me? seriously.
this was also the place that gave me medication in the ER AND later on at my room that the doctor WROTE right on the chart MUST BE taken with food and the nurse never read the chart and never brought the food or even regular milk, so of course you get sick. when i switched rooms, because the former room mate was so noisy and the room was FREEZING, the new room mate hadn't eaten at all, ALL DAY. she said they took her for tests and then never brought her anything all day long, she was just wheeled all over the place waiting for tests. i actually got up, went down the hall and got a dinner out of their little kitchen for her. now tell me WHY didn't the nurse do that - or somebody? good thing i was mobile (and bored). i felt like checking room to room to see who else they were neglecting and no they weren't super busy at all, they were hanging at the nurses' station and more than one of them. grrrr.
headed to the marina before it pours again. been raining on and off all day.

There used to be a radio talk show doctor who said that chemically, caffeine and cocaine were the same. Mini-drugs, I guess.
My Psychiatrist put me on Adderall for my ADD and also to help my depression. I was also on Provigal. I did not like the Adderall for long at all, and told Dr. P to discontinue giving it to me.
i\'m shocked that they put crystal meth into a PILL form and are actually prescribing it to people INCLUDING to CHILDREN!!! wth?
Wow thanks for sharing that info with us. I never new it was crystal meth. The head nurse in that hospital needs to pay more attention to her staff. Especially not reading the charts. It was so nice of you to help the lady out next to you.
