im in a lot of emotional pain

I  miss my friend but then maybe its the universe way of making way for new? i recently just got a girlgriend, and its someone i desired a long time im happy now I got a boyfriend and girlfriend. Something has me sad though I do miss my old friend...what should I do just continue to leave it alone?
