Im a basket case!!!

I feel like a freaking nutcase. My brain is doing overtime, the bleeding has continued on and off, and its always brown but sometimes it stops and sometimes its heavier, sometimes its pale and sometimes its dark brown, sometimes I'm convinced its getting redder, its freaking exhausting.
Sometimes just when I relax for a bit something changes and I end up ringing the poor midwife in a panic and she reassures me that all of this is going to happen and its just a case of waiting it out and seeing what happens, trying to rest a bit more and see how that helps but it didn't really. The gushes are completely random. I will be fine all night, every time a check in the night there's nothing and then I wake up get up and walk around for a minute and........gushing!!
This afternoon I have had very little brown on the panty liner but have noticed the liner is yellow, is this brown but pale or is it something else?? My brain today has convinced me its amniotic fluid, I have no reason to think this but I cant get rid of the fear now its there!!
Also I am now getting stringy clotty brown bits, which the midwife totally told me would happen too but now I'm thinking how do I know if I have an infection or am losing mucus or fluid if I'm losing brown all the time!!

Basically I am losing the plot!!! I cant keep ringing the midwife with dumb questions but I'm paranoid!!
This is just for my records really but also hoping someone can say something that will make me feel better somehow??

Love you all, hope your all getting on as well as you can

It\'s good to hear the midwife is not worried. Just like turbulence on a plane... watch the stewardess to know if it\'s bad, or normal. With pregnancy, you watch the midwife. If she is not concerned, then you don\'t need to be either. Of course you will be, but have faith that they have seen this before, know the reason for your bleeding, and will do everything to make sure you have a healthy baby.

I agree with MRSstrong, if your midwife was worried, they would send you to the hospital. I know it\'s hard, you know everything bad that can happen and you\'ll worry but it\'s a good sign that they are not more worried.
For your water, if you don\'t feel it comng out, even a little, you should be fine there. It\'s happend to me twice, a friend of mine even had her\'s brake in the pool, when it happens you know, even it\'s just a leak.
Call your midwife as often as you need. That\'s what she\'s there for. If it helps keep your stress level down a little, that\'s what\'s best for the baby. Don\'t worry about how she feels about it. She\'s not a friend, it\'s her job to be there for you.

You poor thing - if your midwife says you are okay, then I guess you should try to take her word (I know easier said than done!). I would be probably the same say as you. I would say keep calling your midwife, they is what they are there for. Hugs!

I agree with everyone- if your midwife isn\'t concerned, I think you\'re alright. I would be worried too, so definitely call her as often as you want.

I don\'t know if this makes you feel any better or not but I do have friends that bleed periodically through their pregnancy\'s. It is not uncommon but I understand your worry and anxiety in all of this because we are all so used to tying blood to a huge negative where pregnancy is concerned. Don\'t worry about contacting your midwife too much. She is there for you and it\'s a good thing that she isn\'t worried. I would place your trust in that. *HUG!! Hang in there friend. I am thinking of you and cheering you on.

I am sorry about your worries friend. Unfortunately they are completely normal. There were times when I would actually have DH come and check the TP with me to see if my bleeding was still brown and not getting more red. Do not again DO NOT feel bad calling your midwife. She should understand with all you have been through to get pregnant. I still get panicy when I feel wetness and sometimes I have to run to the bathroom to check. Take things slowly. Remember to breathe when you get worried. Things are going well and like all the other gals have said your midwife is not worried try not to either (easier said than done I know). Remember that you did have a big bleed and so all that old blood needs to come out. I will keep you in my prayers friend!
