while researching the effectiveness of topamax to treat my ED, i found these: http://hubpages.com/hub/Celebritie... http://www.edreferral.com/Celebrit... http://www.fitsugar.com/How-Idols-... they are incredibly long lists of talented celebrities who have struggled with ED's. i put a trigger warning because some of these pics on the first list have pictures of them before they got well. some of these are surprising. i knew oprah and songwriter kara dioguardi struggle with BED. but i didn't know paula abdul and elton john are recovering from bulemia! WE ARE NOT ALONE! i really encourage all of you to look at the first list. just ignore the pics if you want. most of the people on that list have recovered, some of them have some great things to say about recovery and body image issues. the third link is an article on one of my favorite songwriters and her struggle with BED. she has been in recovery for several years and has a studio at the treatment center she went to. she helps patients there discover the healing power of music and how it can help them recover. i hope this post lets you know you're not alone and recovery is possible! love you all!
