if things were different....

so my pdoc asked me yesterday what my life would be like if treatment worked. i said it would be easier. that my daily life wouldn't feel like it was full of mountains to climb. that i wouldn't always be forcing myself to do what needs to be done all the while feeling like a huge faker. this lead me to think 'bout the new year. all i really want is peace. just relief from this crippling depression, constant pain, and ongoing anxiety. i fear i'm asking for too much...

I\'m in a similar boat. It feels so exhausting, when I\'m in the midst of 1 of these episodes i literally feel like my world stops and everyone elses keeps moving. I want to stop using food as a crutch it\'s so destructive. I just want to stop \"eating my feelings.\" I\'m embarrassed and ashamed of it and I want to understand why I feel such a compulsion an terror to binge when I feel empty or anxious. I\'m currently coming off of a binge that was a couple of days. I want to go to the gym and move on with my life but for today I feel so tired. I feel like maybe I need to use today to track the problem back to where it started a few days ago and to try and work through the problem and hate myself for it less. Wishing us both luck!
