If only I knew this sooner
The feeling that I have beat something so strong is such a great feeling....I feel real good about staying smoke-free and my only regret is damn why did I wait so long!!!! Anybody reading this that is just starting out what you are feeling now will go away, if it doesn't then see your doc it may be something else and you can be helped in other ways besides smoking, smoking is not the answer to anything. I'm going to the doctors in two days.... I am happy to be able to say I have quit for almost 1 year I have not seen my doc since last year physical when she gave me the chantix. I am not looking forward to some of the other discussions about health . Again I will repeat smoking is not the answer to anything!!! I put up some photos from my mothers day garden tour I took with my mom, some new ones (I had already posted some before )and it got me excited about working in the yard my daffys will be blooming soon they are finally up, hope we don't get any big storms. I have been thinking about my reward for one year and I have come up with plenty I might make it a month long celebration, I am serious. It will actually be longer than a month because I want to go back to that garden for Fathers day to take more pictures different flowers will be in bloom and it will look totally different, plus I have a new camera so I get to see how the pics compare. The garden is a private garden and only open to the public an Mothers Day and Fathers Day. Also my mom wants to take me for a pedicure for another reason but I will make it around the anniversary and go to lunch after and make it a day. I also will buy myself some new flowers to plant in my garden, I would like to find something that will be in bloom around my anniversary every year so I can remember the day that I began my journey to freeedom!!! I am happy to be starting this new season without the addiction hanging over me so tight that I could barely breathe, I am happy to be a nice smelling non-smoker, ex-smoker whatever you want to call it I am all of those and more. I am happy to be FREE!!!!!!

What a beautiful entry, I too am so excited to work in the gardens and for Spring to be here in full swing....well it is over here in the Pacific Northwest, building raised beds this weekend! You are true to yourself and that is awesome, a year quit is certainly worth a month celebration! You go girl!!!
