If It's not One thing...
Well, my husband thinks he might get in trouble because a piece of equipment was stolen from his truck & he is responsible for the truck, "but I was so distracted..."etc. I don't know if he will be in trouble or not. If so, it would be a 1st offense. And the worst they can do (other than fire him, which I doubt) would be to make him pay for it--it's $4,000.
Normally, I'd get all stressed & worried about the $, especially with the car repairs coming up. But guess what--I'm not! Knowing that my $ is separate & can't be touched really has given me piece of mind. Now of course, if they withhold his pay, that does affect the $ we've been using for groceries, gasoline, and the automatic pay stuff. But I can re-budget for that with my $, plus we do have some $ in the bank from his that he can use for "mad $" (which he always does). So it will work out.
My son has been claiming that he's been doing his homework. But he's sung that song before. I just wish I could "make" him do it. But darn it, I know you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. Mind control as a super-power would come in real handy right now!
