If A Tree
If a tree falls on your house, will you hear it? You sure will! I was watching CSI Tuesday afternoon when I heard a loud "crack" and something hitting my house. The house shook like crazy! I went out and found a large limb from a tree at the side of the house had fallen. Called the landlord and he came out to see. He sent some guys Wednesday afternoon to remove it. There's another tree on the fence line in the back yard that has relieved itself of a limb and fallen on the neighbor's cable line. Line didn't break so I look forward to watching whoever cuts it up, getting a slingshot effect. The house has been vacant for a couple years so I was the only who noticed. The only thing left is a big pile of dead wood at the curb. Apparently no damage to the roof thank goodness. In other news, the results of the CT scan back. It showed what I've known for years,,,I have no brain. Actually, it showed everything is normal so they'll have to find another reason for the problem with my hand. Checked in with the foot doctor and the diabetic shoes are doing fine. They are great,,,lighter than my normal shoes and no "break-in" time. Got 2 sets of inserts that will take me through the year. I will change out my first pair in June and the next pair 4 months later. Next came the cpap and it seems to be doing it's work. Down to 2 breathe stoppages per hour from 30. So, except for limb falling, it's been good news this week.

That is so wonderful!!!!!!! (the good news not the tree falling on your house with the exception of you getting some excitement and maybe getting to watch it being cut up...LOL)
Wow Mike, it is so terrific to read the good report.
I think of you often and hope you post more often - I suppose those of us coping alone with disability love to catch up with others who face similar challenges - it keeps us hanging on and making the challenges work out, somehow. :-)
