Identity Crisis?

Lately I have been buying a lot of clothes. Some days I feel like I just can't believe every single thing I try on looks good (others not so much). Having been obese for 30+ years I have lost a lot of my youth. Things I wanted to wear in particular. It's not like I want to go out there and go man crazy with this new look. It's just that I want back some of the things I feel I have lost and missed out on. So is it wrong to want nice things like high boots and happinin jeans, cute tops and small black dresses? I hope it doesn't sound superficial or materialistic but thats just how I feel. I want back, at least in some measure a part of my youth I lost to obesity. It's just something that is important to me. So I guess instead of acting out I buy these things for myself to gain what was lost. Who knows maybe that is a form of acting out. Anyway I wanted to get these thoughts out so I could examine them and see them at face value.

i think you have a very clear head....you just want what you couldnt have when you were heavy.....you deserve to give it to yourself.....nothing wrong with it....it doesnt make you vein or self absorbed....in fact i think it is healthy to reward yourself because you deserve it....its finally time!!!!
