Ice storm- no big deal,yet
Last night's phase of the ice storm was much less than expected -- the roads are semi-passable and everyone still has electricity. We did get sleet and some snow, and our big Great Pyrenees did stay in the house, though. When he stays inside, you know the weather is bad. The precipitation is suppose to start again tonight - a mixed bag.
I walked about 3/4 of a mile after supper last night with my husband and our puppies ..... crunching through the ice, after dark. I was blue cold and in pain when we got back to the house, but I slept through the night last night for the first time in a while.
See my new avatar??? That's last year's photo of Lizzie - she was 3 1/2 to 4 weeks old then. She thinks she's Princess Elizabeth. She doesn't take the cold well.

I\'m glad you have your electricity, even though the weather isn\'t cooperating for picture taking purposes! Glad you\'re outing helped your sleep in spite of the pain it caused. We don\'t seem to get everything we need all lined up at once. Lizzie\'s a cutie!
