IBS flare-up
I had a 2nd horrible episode of abdominal pain yesterday afternoon. The other event happened 5 days earlier, so that's 2 events within one week. I had been in what I call "IBS remission" for about 2 full months and it was glorious while it lasted. I was eating almost normally and enjoyed every minute. Now to get serious again! I'm back on the IBS diet as of this morning.
I'm not too worried about having to go back to the IBS diet; I'm worried that I may be starting a new part-time job on Monday. I've not even been given an offer yet and should have an answer by the end of this week. However, I do think I have a good chance of getting the job since the 2nd interview went so well. I supposed it's silly to worry about something that has not happened yet, but I do have to try to get a handle on my digestive issues since I cannot afford to be sick when starting a new job. If I do not get the offer, then of course I can rest easy. However, we do need a 2nd income and this job is one of the very few available in the rural town I live in. Fingers crossed on both issues!
