I Will Never be the Same Again.
[WARNING: The following post contains religious stuff that may not be suitable for all audiences... but you guys can handle it!]There's a song that I like with the lyrics "I will never be the same again..." Last time I was on tx I kept telling myself - if I ever get over this... if I ever get well again... if my strength is returned to me... I will do amazing things. I had in mind to do more for others. To advocate for HCV sufferers. To be more compassionate. To get out of the rut of working, working, working and maybe do more living, living, living. To get after the important things. And then I got better. But it wasn't like the lyrics in the song. "I WAS the same again." Don't get me wrong, I'm a good guy and do lots of the right things. But I promised myself I would do MORE if I got well. And I didn't. Then the relapse. And here we go again. But I thank God for another chance. I don't like the suffering but I accept it and if I ever get well again (I leave that in His hands), well then, my friends, I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN! Really! How about you? Why not set the sights high for the exciting things you can do when you get well again? Take care team... JackI will never be the same again,I can never return, I've closed the door.I will walk apart, I'll run the raceAnd I will never be the same again. There are higher heights, there are deeper seas,Whatever you need to do, Lord do in me.The Glory of God fills my life,And I will never be the same again.I will never be the same again,I can never return, I've closed the door.I will walk the path, I will run the raceAnd I will never be the same again. And I will never be the same again. And I will never be the same again.
