i went with Holly to the hospital ER today. updates

hi angel friends, we're thinking of you all, and we hope everyone is doing well, healthy, and having a peaceful day :) i have some updates to share. Holly was in the ER today at our local hospital. in August, she was having some kidney stones on left side, those went away, but on her right side she began to feel kidney stones in early september. She tried everything, water, lemon juice, pineapple juice, apple cider vinegar. it would work a bit. She made an appt. to see her primary doctor today to talk about the kidney stones. we went with Holly this morning, and her doctor said it was out of their ability there to determine if it was kidney stones or her appendix. her doctor sent a note over to the backus hospital here in our city, for Holly to get a ct scan/x-ray. We drove Holly to the ER, i went in with her. She got signed in and everything. they did bloodwork, tests, and called Holly in about an hour later. We were in the middle area of the main hospital area. the doctors, nurses are very nice, and scheduled Holly for a ct scan. they gave her some pain medicine, and an IV for hydration. She recieved the ct scan. the doctor came back with results, and was talking with Holly and i. She has 3 kidney stones, 1 of the stones is trying to pass thru, and is what is causing her pain. the doctor said, she doesn't need surgery, and is being prescribed a medicine, and also a pain medicine to help ease the pain. Holly was given some water, and first dose of the medicine. we were at the hospital until about 5pm. Holly was discharged, and my dad picked us up. we went to CVS pharmacy to pick up Holly's medicines. We're very glad, and thankful Holly is gonna be ok. She's got a healing journey ahead of her. She's so glad, and thankful she went to the hospital ER, and is gonna be able to have much more healing :) We're all rallying around her with lots of support.

We're settling into the evening. i've been keeping friends updated thru texts, and also writing this journal to update friends :)We're very hopeful, and praying that Holly has a full healing recovery. i'm going to write more in my journal tomorrow. we have a nor'easter storm approaching here. we wish everyone comfort, and safety, that's in the path of the storm. we're gonna be home this weekend, we're not sure if we'll shop yet, we're gonna see how Holly's doing, and also how the weather is tomorrow morning. we postponed baking friday until next week. it's been a journey of a day, we're so relieved and thankful Holly recieved great medical care. We're with you all, our dear angel friends, and gonna write more tomorrow :) i just wanted to update everyone this evening :) We love you all bunches and bunches:) Wishing everyone a peaceufl evening and night :)
