I watch Hoarders

I'm not a hoarder and I don't have a lot, though I do have too many books and too many things I hang on to, wagging along forever from place to place because of sentimental attachment or in fear of losing something and never being able to replace it, so I watch hoarders.  It always makes me able to par down just a "little" more of what I am about to have to move......... again  My mother is a hoarder.  I empathize with these people on the show so much.  It's hard to work with a hoarder on their horde.   I think I could do that for a living, and have the patience to treat them with respect and go at their pace.  I wonder just how many people suffering from depression are also hoarders in need of help

I am back. I see where others have checked on me. Thank you. Particularly, thank you, Gramybear, for your thoughts and concern. In October of 2012 I moved to care for my mother. For 8 months, I had no internet. I guess I was out of the habit bad when I did get hooked back up by moving her to town. I had over 2000 emails (auto gens lol) but I did get them all eventually. Her health is declining and I\'ve simply tried to ignore myself and devote my time to helping her. Can\'t say it always works, but at least it got me mobile and needed. I realize I can\'t ignore myself in the shuffle, and that becomes painfully clear at times when I crash with the despair of depression. However, she and my stepdad depend on me for everything, and I cannot share that with them. I know I need to be back here. Soooo, here I am.
