I was told today by someone that my life seems so "Vanilla!"

The person who told me this said I should lead a more exciting, risk taking kind of life and kick it up a notch!!...Like becoming a librarian, or an exciting career such as punching in numbers all day as a statistical analyst. And maybe even consider exploring things like musical theater, fine art museums, antiquing, and learn how to tell the difference between fine wines from crap...He also mentioned about my dress?? (I always wear solids). And that maybe I should be a little more "cutting edge" with my clothing and wear things like white golf shirts with wide horizontal colored stripes on them and get a SMART phone.....
Hmmm? Just one problem!?...lol
I just got a call a little while ago....I accepted a gig this weekend to play a OMG (Outlaw Motorcycle Gang) cook out...
I guess my life is just so "Vanillia" :) -J
People who know me?...Do you think that fits my persona in what he was telling me? 
PS: The guy who told me this is 50 and still living in his parents basement with his comic book collection and Star Trek DVD's...Just saying?? lol
