I've gotta start attracting the RIGHT people...

Because right now, I seem to be attracting the wrong ones.
I mowed the lawn this morning - and found a liquor bottle and evidence that someone is looking in my windows while I'm at work.   Oh man, even as I'm typing this, I realize I need to go talk to the police department again.  It's not my X - there would be more than evidence if it was (he needs to drop off the monthly dog food).  It's beginning to look like someone who asked me out on a date - comments he made recently lead toward it... and then there's the missing key.  I'm not worried - I changed the locks and anybody who tries breaking in is gonna deal with dogs.... and it's not like they can get through the windows without being seen by the neighbors - it would take much more than a few minutes, a ladder, and there are actually locks on the windows.
GAAA and here I thought I was actually getting somewhere... I'll post more about that somewhere once I get this all straightened around at the police department.   LATER!

That is a little scary...I hope the police are able to help. Do you have any idea who this may be?? Im glad you changed the locks and you are right...you need to be selective as to who you let into your life. There are those who bring you up but there are also those who bring you down. Surround yourself with those who are going to add positives in your life. Keep us posted on what the police say and please be careful.

It\'s looking like one of my customers who asked me on a date last year (I declined - too soon and he\'s a bit odd - alot like my X).... last month he made a comment that he knew where I lived (question is HOW?) Last week, he stopped in at the office, we talked like we always have (an ok, comfortable conversation)... and then he oddly asked if my windows were locked. Granted, conversation was about my problem neighbor, but still.... I\'m waiting for a return call from the police. I don\'t expect them to do anything, I just want them to know this is going on.

Well, talked to the police - they said they\'ll put it down as an incident report... didn\'t ask me anything about strange people lately - I actually felt a little blown off. SO, if something bad happens and I\'m not able to tell them, I just want it down somewhere that they will need to take a good look at Tony Wall.... just in case. HOPEFULLY, it will be nothing to worry about. :}

Oh no that is not pleasant at all!! Really unsettling!
What the heck was that guy asking about your windows being locked? I am sorry I would find that very creepy too. I sincerely hope the police pay some heed to what you have said and decide to just swing past your house now and again to check on things.
Ugh! I am so sorry this is happening to you.

You said the police \"didn\'t ask me anything about strange people lately\" -- Honey, I think I would have TOLD the police about this guy regardless of the fact they didn\'t ask -- AND I would have given his name. The LAST thing you need is some whack-job snooping around your house! I don\'t mean to be an alarmist, but in many instances, people are attacked (and even raped) by SOMEONE THEY KNOW. LISTEN TO YOUR GUT! If you were alarmed enough to write it down here \"of something happens to me\" then that\'s a sign that the warning bells are going off in YOUR mind! Please take action immediately!

The officer I spoke to this time.... I met him before. Our office got broken into (well the closet, lol - heard my alarm and took off)... and he (the officer) goes on to tell me HIS way of making my office more secure... like leaving lights on. Really?!! I\'m supposed to just light the way for the thief to just help himself to my safe, am I?

And it\'s not just him... last time I visited the PD, the animal control officer made up \"laws\" because she is a friend of my problem neighbor (she came right out and said so) - I discovered that when I checked into something else and I found a law (and others) that contradicted everything she said....

Yeah, I don\'t have much faith in our city PD and have taken precautions to deal with it directly on my own... and just in case that doesn\'t work, my computer is set up so this site comes up first and they (as in county PD - guys I work with and trust) should find it right away (journalling is also DOCUMENTING).
