I tried to tell you about Amos
but, ds ate it. I could not save what I wrote. I could not copy what i wrote. then DS told my that my email address, or my password was invalid. I can't do it again. uhg, maybe it's just not meant to be. But, DS is making me angry. It's way worse than it was before the "upgrade". snort!
the bottom line about Amos: his mother was one of many dogs who live at the rental home of drug addicts. The dogs recieved no attention, and very little food. Tim was hired by the home owners to do some repair work on the kitchen and floors of that home, and he brought Amos to our house when he was six weeks old. That home is directly across the highway from our house..... Amos never looked back. He never showed any desire to go to his mother or the rest of his litter. Good for Amos.
The rest of his litter met their demise in some form or fashion before they were a year old. They began roaming up and down the highway, in search of food. The attacked neighbors' pets, got into trash, and began chasing cows, and killing young calves to eat. killing young calves for food.
Amos was nothing like that. We were blessed with 4 wonderful, beautiful, memorable years together. God is good.

Thanks Nancy. You rescued Amos and gave him a wonderful life. You did a great job indeed. He is an eternal soul and will never cease to be. All is good. Back in the early nineties Frank, myself and kids were travelling south by car. We stopped just off the highway to use the public toilet. I could hear tiny screaming sounds nearby. I felt anxious and ran through the bush to the beach looking for the source of the screams. I realized they were coming from a big industrial type garbage bin near the toilet block where we were parked. Strangely no one in my family could hear the screams, nor could the small group of tourists picnicking close by. Frank said it was my imagination. Then I had this desperate urge to search through the huge rubbish bin, frantically throwing garbage everywhere. People were looking at me as though I had gone crazy. At the bottom of that huge bin , I found 3 new born puppies inside a plastic bag. Their screams were so faint that Frank believes to this day it was a miracle. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I saved the 3 of them. The vet in the nearby town gave me pet bottles and I fed them one after the other on my lap in the car. I eventually found good loving homes for all 3 and they had good lives. They were all female. I will never forget them. Your story just triggered my memories again. I hope my story is not too upsetting for anybody. That cruel and spiritually ignorant person tried to kill those puppies but it was not their time. God is in control.xo
