I Took a Walk!!
I am kinda proud of myself. Jim was going to take Dillon for a ride in his stroller this evening. I always want to go with them but usually don't because it hurts me so bad to walk very far. I had pain meds in me though and guess I just had this incredible sense of well-being that they can provide so I went. I walked a half mile. Yay me!! My legs got very tired, but I didn't hurt like I have in the past. Gives me hope that I can actually go on daily walks once I get my own script for pain meds. Right now, I am having to depend on the generosity of friends and what little money I can pay for them. It sucks, but it's better than doing without. I have an appointment in Atlanta for the end of September. I had to schedule it that far out because of monetary reasons. At least, I have an appointment though. I am not mentioning that I used to be in pain management or whatnot. Then they get a feeling of well why is that doctor not treating you anymore and then you have to go into well I am bipolar so he quit writing my meds for me. I ain't even gonna tell them I am bipolar!! I have this incredible positive feeling and just want others to feel it too. Thanks for reading if you did and have a wonderful day/week/month/year. Well, you get the point!! Whatever it is for you, I hope it is great!! Love yas.

Good for you. I hope you get the pain under control, but I hate that they wouldn\'t give you pain meds because of bipolar. My pdoc gave me huge scripts for pain - they gave me migraines my stomach is such a mess. But working out helps a lot. you are headed in the right direction! Keep it up.
oops! sorry about that, didn\'t mean to leave a blank message, but anyway...GO CHELLE! that is so fantastic. i know some people might not see it as a big thing, but who cares what they think. being in pain makes things that seem mundane very difficult, so for you to feel mentally and physically able to go walking is a fantastic accomplishment. congrats! you keep it up, and good luck with the appt in atlanta, i know it\'s a far trip but it\'ll be worth it. you\'\'ll be walking miles in no time! though be sure that they take a look at your muscle movement too. i learned today that someone i know is on a pain med schedule but the doc is not treating the underlying cause so he\'s just constantly aggravating the old injury with movement and taking more and more pain relief instead of a muscle relaxant AND pain relief....these doctors, sometimes i wonder. but anyway, you did so well today! be proud of yourself and keep it up!! (((HUGS)))
You rock!
I\'m impressed that you walked half a mile. That\'s a long way to walk when you have pain. I\'m going to have to start walking too just to lose weight too. GOOD JOB WELL DONE !

What can be better than that?! =) Way to go, Chelle! love you, too!!! Keep on keepin\' on!!! love and hugs to ya! =)
