I told him \"One Day At A Time\"......

The assistant principal called.... T-Man has a TWO day suspension for more than "just" talking. Apparently he gave the attendance lady a difficult time - getting on -line and looking up inapropriate material  (Ted Bundy and Marilyn Manson stuff) claiming it was for an art project.  T likes to get attention - apparently he was showing off in front of his friends, who were also in the detention room, the asst. principal told me.  Anyway, the art teacher was contacted to find out if T's choice of material was approved by him and he said no.  T agrues with me on that one- but I told him that I was merely repeating to him what I was told. Regardless whether the project is legitimate or not, the subject matter is inappropriate. The 2nd day suspension was for an old infraction.  Whatever.    Great - to him it's time off from school!!  Now that he's caught up on TWO classes.....he will now be behind again.  Great. Then today I received another e-mail from the assistant principal.  Now I'm thinking what now?  This time it had nothing to do with T.  He was asking if I could provide him with a copy of the resource packet I've been putting together for parents who learn that their child is abusing drugs.  He offered to make copies.  Says he has a meeting with a parent this week and he would like to give the packet to this perosn.  Funny I was waiting for his input for the packet since spring and he kept telling me he'd get to it.  Guess we don't need his portion all that much since he's the one meeting with this parent.  Sent the packet documents to hubby at work and he is going to have his friend who owns an ad agency to spiff it up.  I told him that I can do it from here for this particular parent and then do the rest at the agency...nope, he wants to do it this way.  Okay........
