I Think I Understand Now
I have mentioned in other journals that my wife says she loves me, but I would tell her that I didn’t believe her. I was looking at sites that talked about sexless marriages and the phrase “people can love their spouse, but not be in love with them” was discussed. This made me think a lot about my situation. I found four sites, of which two were Christian, and went through them to look for answers. Three of them had “9 Signs that she is not in love with you”. As I read through them, I realized that 6 of them were true in my case. I guess my next step is to sit down and talk with her and find out if it’s true. Maybe she can explain what made her fall out of love with me. That will be my next journal.

I think sometimes our lives go on and things do happen that do pull spouses in opposite directions. Don't think it is as simple as what caused this and when. The thing to remember is that you did share that love once. I hear many say they still love their spouse but are no longer in love with them . ( It is hard for some of us who felt like we really didn't have either anymore.)
After it goes away, is a matter of us deciding if we need and deserve more than just sharing a name and a roof over our heads, There are some who have decided it was a trade off for them. Their spouse is an excellent provider, parent, and best friend-- so they decide to stay and (when needed) take care if themselves.
You are in my thoughts and prayers as you try to work through all this. May it help to know you are not alone and others (like me) DO CARE. Hugs, Kim
Thanks Kim. You always know the right things to say. We'll see what happens. The sooner I know, the better.
I hope things are improving for you.
Hugs, Bruce
Sometime it just happens I fell out of love with my husband because I knew he was seeing other women. I left him 1991 been alone ever since. He died 2 years ago I didn't even feel sad. Ever case is different maybe talk to your wife.
