I think I met someone
I was out mowing my lot this morning and this big yellow lab comes running up on me so I stopped to check him out. A minute later a car pulls up and this lady gets out and comes up. She said he doesn't take on people like that. He usually runs off or plays hard to get. She went to put him on the chain and he ran off. Lol. She lives in the park a couple rows over and what's funny the dogs name is Marley. Like the movie Marley and me. She said her ex husband thought she was nuts for naming him that. She's divorced 28 yo and I'm single 24 years old. Hmm. She told me where she lived and she's usually home in the evenings if I want to stop by and see Marley. I know that's code. I'm no dummy. Apparently she took a liking to a sweaty shirtless Tyler. I took a liking too. Is this fate or is this coincidence? We might have to find out.

I also think this is an invite to go visit her in a few days. Don't rush it, don't be obnoxious. You already found out her age so I guess she found out your age, too? The old fashioned way of meeting people was to talk to them, make conversation, and then do things together. Good luck on this!
I mentioned she doesn't look old enough to be divorced. She said her age I said mine. I'm grown up. I'm not a jerk or anything. I've been physically on my own since I was 18 and mentally, emotionally and everything else since a couple years before that. Some who remembers me here before knows what I mean.
I know you are not a jerk, P. I think the situation you describe is the most natural way of meeting someone to potentially let a friendship grow into something more. She saw her dog liked you and you were petting it, so that means a lot to her.
Maybe see if she would meet you somewhere public.. coffee house, or even something simple like McDonald’s… lol… but something very safe and very public…
Yes it's very old fashioned way of meeting people. I like dogs and I think everything was very natural... like fate maybe. Yeah I think it's safe. I'm sure her ex is alive and there was reasons they split. I know things here is done different than where I'm from. A date sounds nice too. We'll find out Wednesday. I'm planning on stopping by.
