I think I'm crazy!
I can't stop crying. I've gone back to work this week...working as many hours as I feel able to each day. Yesterday I left at 2:45 because I was just wiped out. Last night I took something to help me sleep because I just having been sleeping well lately.
But I can't stop crying. I feel so tired and sad. I have to keep calling doctor's offices and getting referrals and having tests. I'm tired of it. I'm afraid all the time. I feel so overwhelmed by everything.
In addition to the PE's I discovered that I'm pre-diabetic. I feel paralyzed with fear and overloaded with information. I don't know where to start and I'm afraid that if I don't DO SOMETHING to take care of my health I'm going to die. I'm afraid of everything spinning out of control.
I'm single and most of my friends live far away. I need help managing everything from my health to my finances. I'm just so overwhelmed and I feel stupid because I should be able to handle things. I'm a grown woman and I should be able to take control and get it together.

You are not crazy. You may be having panic attacks. I have been dealing with them since my PE on August 11. This is one time in my life when I have actually asked for and am taking something to calm my nerves (Xanax) and though it has addictive properties, I don\'t think I could really function without it. I just went back to work last week (2 months earlier than Doc wanted) because I need to keep my mind busy. Are you open to trying something?
