I think I can..... I think I can....I knew I could....I knew I could!

Well, yesterday after work I got brave, ....not brave so much as  I just didn't feel like taking it.....so I left my cane at work!  I caught the bus, walked home (up hill)  :o) and what a surprise....nothing happened!  No meteors, no freak fire and ice storms, no cats and dogs playing together....Everthing was fine!  So this morning, I walked (down hill) to the bus stop the only  difference was the bus driver was smiling when I boarded and she said, "No cane?!!!?" I just smiled back coyly and said, "Nope, not today!"  Now that felt like an accomplishment!  Hmm...my next goal might include taking up horseback riding!  :o)  FYI-When the weather turns cold again, I might have to revisit the cane and I won't see that as a set back.... but until then, I'm cane free!
