I shouldn't listen to the radio

I guess listening to the radio is hazardous to my health.
There I was driving along minding my own.  Took the ugly cat to the groomers.  Okay the cats think he is an ugly cat cause they are bigger than he is.  But as pups go he's pretty cute. Drop him off, said "Hey", to my Granddaughter, Cassie. She works at the groomers washing various and sundry dogs and Thatcher (He's not a dog just ask him). Chatted a bit with Anna (the groomer--and a sweetie). Headed home, Takes a bit.  Nowhere in this town is very far from anywhere.  However Anna's shop is 1 1/2 miles down a dirt road. A very bumpy, holey, dusty dirt road.  Speed limit is 15mph, but most days 10mph is pushin' it.
So's here I is minding my own, singing with the radio (No one to hear we is smack dab in the middle of the desert.  Good music.  60's.  Hey, man groovin' to the tunes.  Grew up on this stuff.  Havin' a good time or is that a groovey time.  Then they change the tune of the song.  No Fair I was havin' a good time and now......
The tears are flowing, all on their own, I love/ hate this song. She dies and he gets left all lone and that just stinks.  Then things get twisted and there is no one at home to help ease this off.  So Chelsea Lynn and I hit the bed still crying and totally bummed out.
Took Chelsea about an hour of head butts and mewing to get my head almost back on.  But once she got through,I got me in gear and am back to being me.  I'm really tired, my eyes burn but I can think.
I didn't come completely apart just sorta, I didn't smoke ( to be honest I didn't even think of it,  scary).  I do owe Duckie an apology.  Told him I would be back on line in a half hour and ended up going off line.  But didn't want to subject anyone to that me.  She doesn't come here often. But I am a mess when I let me get that far down.
I'm back, I'm okay, I'm in the here and now.  Not the past or the future.
Love 'n hugs,
Elsie

Glad you\'re feelin better, girl. Sometimes I have a crying spell after hearing a song on the radio that tugs at my heart strings! Our \"fur babies\" always make it better, don\'t they? The part about the head butts cracked me up! My little karma kitty gives me at least a dozen a day......Take Care,Katie

So glad you made it through all those emotions without lighting up. Music can
be a double-edged sword. It can make up happy and feeling calm-----or can remind of something painful, that we wish we could simply forget already.
Glad you have that \"ugly kitty\" to help you out. I have a crazy dog to make my life complete. LOL Love yourself; your kitty; and give hubby a squeeze or two for good measure. Love ya Elsie.
