I really don\'t think I\'m relationship material

Or have found anyone who understands my need for autonomy and male power yet wants me to love her.  It's going to take a special kind of woman, perhaps one with her own power, her own place in the world, her own career, to understand this.  I have my own innate talents that bring me pleasure, and enjoy my own space, yet every now and then, get lonely and would like to be intimate with another.  Guess I'll tell women this...what have I got to lose?  No one in my life anyway.

I would tell women this! My girlfriend is looking exactly for the same thing yet being a woman all the men get dramatic on her and want a relationship. I don\'t think it\'s a bad thing.

Yes, just tell them. When I was younger I was in a relationship for 6 years just like you describe. We gave eachother space for our artistic pursuits, etc. However, I eventually broke it off because I really want to have a family. That relationship doesn\'t lend itself to marriage and family very well. :)

Thanks, folks. I would like to commit, just be a \"part-time\" lover. I think I\'ll use those exact words.
