I passed all my Comps!

 For those of you who have talked to me about education. I want to share the good news. I have officially passed all three of my comprehensive exams. I will be receiving Masters of Science in teaching. I will receive my diploma and hood on May 1st, 2009. It is hard to believe that I started this journey so long ago and I have come to this monumental crossroad. I can't believe how much my heart is jumping around. I want to thank all of my friends for their support and my wonderful family. If was not for their faith and sacfrice my dream would not have be fulfilled.  I have so many great memories of my college experience and have made so many wonderful friends over the years. I know if it wasn't for many late night study sessions and pushing each other to succeed my success would only be half felt.  I want to give special thanks to my fantastic husband  who refused to let me give up when things weren't right. He never waivered in his dedication to our family. He is the love of my life and I can't wait to share my next new journey with him. To my beautiful children Jherica and James; and my beautiful adopted children Desi, Neville, and Angel. Thank you for giving me inspration to find great ways in reaching out to all children.  I have learned so much from them and from their insight.  To my mom and dad thank you for giving me a little needed money for my first college book. Way back in Junior College. I  know that my determination is a direct product of your moral, ethical, and value laden self concepts. Thank you for a strong foundation and having faith in me. To my Granny, I know in heaven you are smiling and telling me, "I told you never to give up kid."
