I now have mild generalize MG.

Saw a new specialist and she said I have mild generalized MG.   She said the MG is affecting too much of my life to just be Ocular MG.    I was weaker on my right shoulder than other times.    She started me on 250 mg of Cellcept and then after 2 weeks went up the 500 mg of Cellcept twice a day.
I am having trouble walking but she does not know if it's the MG or my bone on bone arthritis.   I now walk with a cane.
Still planning on going to Atlanta in two months to see my favorite Days of Ours Star.  It give me something to look forward to in the future.   It keeps me from giving up and retiring.  So I take this as a positive.
I am taking a walker with me because I no longer stand for more than 5 min without trouble walking and pain in my back.  It is kind of embarrassing for me but better than not going.
Still on 30mg of Prednisone.   She wants me to take the Prednisone every other day to reduce risks.  I tried but felt like an 87 yr old woman.    Will try again next week.

Same, I had no idea you have been dealing with all of this and I am sorry, too! I am interested in hearing more about your experience of MG. You are always reaching out to others when you have your own load to carry! Hugs, Rosie

Sorry you have gone from ocular to general MG. I was praying that wouldn\'t happen with you. I bet you can\'t wait to go see Days of Our Stars. I do remember what you loved to watch. Hope things change soon for you.
Love, Cathy
