I miss my mom more now then ever

I miss you so much mom. 10 years have gone by so fast and I still grieve you probably more then I did when you died. I am thinking about the 9 Christmas's I have missed. 10 this holiday. I just don't have the holiday spirit anymore you and dad were the reason why I kept my chin up during the holidays. Right now I don't feel the holiday spirit that most people do.I am so tired of people telling me that I should be over your death after all it has been 10 years. How can they say that I feel your lossĀ  everyday. I hate the cancer that took you away from us.But you are in a better place. I guess God needed you as his angel more then we needed you here. But it still is hard. God took you from us to young. Why he needed you at the time he did. RIP mom and dad!

Dear Paige, Don\'t let others be the judge of when you should \"be over it\". My Dad died just after Christmas 40 years ago and though I\'m better I\'m not \"over it\" and doubt I ever will be. I miss him still tremendously. Just realize that some people are incapable of loving to the same depths that we do and therefore they do not understand. Pity for them. Hugs. Jenny
