I am so sorry you are going through this. I know how you feel. Life is so lonely without the people that we loved so much. We never expected this to happen to us, we had a vision of the future that has now been turned upside down. Take care of yourself. I wish there was something I could say to make you feel instantly better, but I know better now that I have experienced such pain. I wish for you that time heals your broken heart.
I am sorry Marie that you are going through this. It is a tough road that those of us left here have to travel. As JJ says please take care of yourself. This is like a rollercoaster ride, many ups and downs. I hope your days are brighter and your nights not so lonely. My prayers are with you.
As many have said, it is hard to believe that many of us feel the same pain of loss. I too feel that my life ended the day I lost my beloved on 8/6/09. It feels like I am just going through the motions of life but not really life. I don\'t even want to think about tomorrow as today is difficult enough. I sometimes wonder if the pain ever gets less. I pray each and every day that God bring me and the kids comfort in accepting this unbelievable loss. I know it doesn\'t help your pain, but there are many of us out here who are experiencing the same emotions. Take care. JD
My husband died of brain trauma also. He left for a meeting on his motorcycle and on his way home he was run off the road and even though he was wearing a helmet he still suffered to much injury to the head. Since he was awake and seemed okay they didn\'t rush him to ER and by the time he arrived there it was too late. The what ifs are so hard. It has been 2 and a half years now. The pain does not go away but it does become easier to deal with. Reading grief books and all the wonderful friends I have made here really helps. Big hugs!!!!
