I Miss him

Today, I miss him...so much.  My heart hurts.  I know that this will get better and I will be able to move on just fine, but this is so hard sometimes.  We spent like 24/7 together, so to go from that to absolutely nothing... its just hard.  I wonder if I just miss having someone around.  I realize that he treated me bad and that when I was there - I only wanted out, so why does it hurt?  Love is so confusing.   This is truly what a broken heart feels like.  And I absolutely hate it.

Jen, I know that I feel the same way. I know that when I was with him I only wanted out, but now I\'m lonely and think about getting back together just to have the company, but I know he hasn\'t changed so in time I would right back it where I was before and I think leaving the second time would be much harder. Do you think your guy has changed? Could it be better the second time around? I know that it definately hurt, I still cry just about everyday and it\'s been ten months. We need to spend more time with friends, or out just window shopping or going for a drive, or visiting someone. Anything to occupy just to keep us busy. I think I\'ll call a friend today to see if she wants to do something!! Hope your day is better. HUGS

I can understand Jen, I felt the same way for awhile. I no longer miss him, I just hate him. Read your last journal and you\'ll miss him less.

Jen, I felt the exact same way until I realized with the help of my thrapist that the relationship I was in was not healthy and it changed the person that I was. I think personally that I missed having the company not him. I still to be honest miss being married and miss our life we had together. I don\'t in anyway miss being with him because it was unhealthy but I do miss my home (he got that) my dogs, my stuff etc. You get used to living a certain way and then one day it all changes. That is very difficult to deal with. It doesn\'t matter if you realize why you got out and that you are better off for it now it still hurts but as they say time does heal. I agree with Lynn try to keep busy as best you can. I started reading and find that occupies my time very well. Hope you have a better day today!! :-)

Jen, as much as it sucks, cuz you know better and u know u don\'t need him in ur life...this is perfectly normal. For a while after my husband died, even after all the crap he put me through, once I found out I was negative...there were days were I just yearned to hear his voice, to feel him near and I think it\'s more out of comfort, out of wanting that which is familiar. It will get better as the days go by...but it will take time. When I felt like that, I would normally go find something to do, I\'d go running, go watch a movie, cuz that loneliness just kills u.
