I'm Very Low Right Now

My God this hurts.  Had a meeting with a financial advisor today to start figuring out the money.  I made mention a few times of the inequity of our incomes (I make 10x more).  She wants a 60-40 split on expenses.  Wants her 50% of investments plus the $50k she brought into the marriage 19 years ago.  Fine.  Wants 50% of home equity plus the $140k she brought into the marriage 19 years ago.  Fine.  Said "fuck you" to my face tonight and said she's sorry she waited this long to divorce me.  Said she doesn't like me very much right now.  Shocker-your divorcing me.  Am I without fault in all this?  No.  I never cheated, got physical, was addicted, went out, etc.  I don't deserve this-less than 50% custody, lose my house, home equity, maintenance for 7-9 years, etc.  I am about as low as I can be right now.  Not sure I can get thru this.  She's yelling, threatening and being hateful.  I'm backpedaling since we're in the same house.  I am not in a good place right now.

I'm so sorry man. That is just horrible. I'm not there yet with my wife. My situation, as all are, is different. You truely are getting beat up. She sounds so dam rotten. As is my wife. My wife had her daily yelling at me today. We work hard to achieve financial security and a divorce just tears it down. I'm sure you had plans for your future and now your wife of all people is destroying these plans. I became connected to Jesus about 8 years ago. He has to become your friend right now. Unfortunately he does not send down an angel every time we suffer. In fact, he never sends down an angel. But he truly exists, just as we exist. Make sure you get or keep your ticket into Heaven. When there, all of this life suffering on Earth will be nothing more that a whisper is the wind. It's hard to lean on this fact, but try, it will offer some help. God bless.

I hear ya.
After 35 years my ex took everything to marry a guy who was better off.

The financial side is a different matter.

You feel you may just have well held up years of saving and 'going without' and made a small useless bonfire of it.

So it all boils down to what someone can can out of a marriage?

Logic is out the window man!
