I'm still in here....

I'm really struggling with acceptance. I'm usually pretty good at "going with the flow" and I've been a good sport about things since the accident that changed my life so drastically. I feel very lucky that I didn't die in that accident, and have always assumed that there was a reason all of this happened. But lately the pain is almost constant and I can only seem to stand for 15 minutes or so without having to sit. There's so much I want and need to do and my body won't cooperate. The old me is still in here. The me who used to have 10 projects going at once, who only needed about 4hrs. of sleep a night. I used to spend my days off from work in the garden...sometimes into the dark, because I loved growing things and seeing the rewards when the flowers were all in bloom. Now I look out the window and see how overgrown it has become, a lot of my plants and flowers dying and want to cry. I miss getting into my car and going to get what I need when I need it. Instead, I wait, sometimes for weeks until I can have someone drive me to where I need to go. I've been an independant soul most of my life and losing that is like losing a part of myself. I have always been a fighter. I have never had what one would consider an easy life, but always pushed past obstacles and took on challenges with great determination. I just don't know how to fight this, but I can't seem to accept it either. Where to go from here?
