I'm so tired of juggling
I'm not a juggler. Never had any desire to be. It's all I can do to take care of myself, much less my 86-year old Mother; and be an emotional support for my daughter as she is going through some issues herself; and being there for my husband with his medical issues.
Am I being selfish? A big baby? I simply want the luxury of being able to lie down and rest/nap in the afternoon so the pain that has accumulated during the morning and early afternoon can be lessened by rest.
Went to Church yesterday with Mom in tow. I hurt so bad but all my attention had to be focused on Mom.
Doctor today with Mom with lab work prior. Going with Daughter a couple of hours before Mom's appointments for moral support and encouragement.
Where is MY support and encouragement?

The sandwich generation, I remember it very well. We had my mother live with us from her 80th to her 90th year when she died. We loved her, but my fibro when it was raging, brought me to my bed far too long. My youngest son was only 10, and a handfull. I did not have a sick husband, he has always been a helpful partner.
Don\'t know how you manage, but a hero you are! To do anything with this illness, it is so brave. I remember waiting with mother for her dr. Sick as a dog, myself. Just getting up and dressed a major challenge. Driving and parking, just too exhausting. These days are limited.
Take care of yourself, as they all depend on you. Know your limits and rest when you can. I am sorry it\'s so tough! Sending you a tight hug, and wishing you better support. Abby
Abby, thank you so much for your kind, and desperately needed, words. It\'s been forever since I have made a journal entry because they would all read the same way! Hugs to you ~Karen
