I\'m ready for my closeup now Mr.Demille
I may have to get an agent. I had my CT scan done this morning. It went quickly but, unlike my prior CT, this time my doc wanted me to pick up the xray while I was there. I waited around for about 15 minutes fully expecting the tech to come out with a manila envelope with the xray inside. Instead when the tech came out she handed me a DVD. I saw that my name was on it and she explained that my xray was on it. So now I'm a Video star. I guess Andy Warhol was right, everyone is famous for 15 minutes. So now my wife is my Personal Assistant. I think I'll ask her to peel some grapes for me. Wait, here she is now ...and she doesn't have the grapes! She informs me that my 15 minutes are up. Rats! Oh well, I have the video thingy next week.(Do I smell a comeback?) This tme I'll remember to ask for my peeled grapes sooner. Be well.Tom

Haha! Love your sense of humor! Brilliant what your hospital system does...putting that on a DVD. Mine doesn\'t do that...it would be lots simpler for patients and therapists. Saves trees (ughh living in this crazy state has me thinking like a Californian) because I bet the report from the radiologist is on it too. Anyway, most of our medical records are on the hospital\'s intranet but I frequently see patients who carry around their original xrays.
Fame? You seek fame? You are too funny, Tom!
Some of our doctors around here have things on DVDs too. Not the hospital though. It\'s nice when you can sit with the doc and see the video. That way he can explain it to you and you can see it with your own eyes. It always helps me understand things better.
Mr. Tom.....can I have your autograph?
Take care,
Robin
You are a kick and a half! Love the humor. We have Kaiser and all of our recent x-rays, CTs and MRIs are on DVD (like we have that many). I have lovely MRI pics of my lower spine - 5 slightly messed up dics in a row from L4 down through S1 (lumbar 1-4 and sacrum 1), fortunately no bulges. It only bothers me if I sit too long, or if I slouch, or if I sit on my couch, or if I drive for hours hmm standing is sounding better and better. Anyway, I digress. So, you take the Missouri fame and Ill take the northern California fame. Yeah, like my husband would ever peel grapes! Well, not unless he thought it would lead to something else but even then I seriously doubt it. :-)
Anyway, I hope everything goes well with the video production. At least youre the star in that. Hey, ask the doc to start the camera before he goes in for the dive, then at least your face would be in the movie, I mean video!
:-)
