To share a love as we once did,
Two hearts that joined in melody,
Each beat a note so tender felt,
The chords a song of ecstasy
 
But now the song has lost its beat,
The rhythm gone, the hearts retreat,
To end a love that seemed so strong,
Two lives once joined now incomplete
 
As time has passed the old wound heals,
A new day dawns to contemplate,
And with it comes a star so bright,
A lighted path to consecrate
 
The way is clear, the mind at peace,
Each day unveils a life anew,
A journey of the heart and soul,
To all the pain I bid adieu
