Finally I get some time to take care of myself.  I saw my doctor a week and a half ago and she scolded me about several things.  But the best part is that she has given me an order for physical therapy to strengthen & energize myself prior to having any of the necessary surgeries.  Today was my evaluation and I start Monday with water therapy.  Since I love the water, I am so very happy about this.Also, I have my initial appointment with the neruosurgical team.  It won't be until mid-April, but that give me more time to regain some strength to make for better recovery. Mom continues to recuperate from her pneumonia.  She still has not regained enough strength or skills to be listed as Assisted Living level.  Looks like she won't be going home any time soon.  But since she has come close to dieing 3 times in a month and a half, I guess this is to be expected.
