I'm Back Again!

Tuesday, September 15, 2009 It seems as though I've been gone from here for quite some time. This has been the result of a number of computer problems -- some of which have now been resolved -- and some that have not. The final blow came when my computer monitor finally bit the dust. It must have been related to my printer, because it had the same end.   I finally managed to get to OfficeMax this afternoon, and purchased a new high-definition computer monitor, and a new printer. A friend of mine connected the monitor for me, and will come back tomorrow to set up the printer.   My Dragon NaturallySpeaking software is working once again, so I am able to speak into my microphone and have everything written up automatically. I am happy about that because it was getting very hard for me to type everything by hand, and that, in itself, was beginning to cause me pain in my hand and shoulders.   With all of my computer problems, there was no way I could notify anyone of why I was not online.   This is the first thing I've written on my computer since sometime last week. I can already tell that something is not working quite right, but I will have to wait until my friend comes over tomorrow before getting everything straightened out.   If everything works out right, I will be back sometime tomorrow morning before I go to see my psychologist in the afternoon. On second thought, that may not be possible, because my case manager is supposed to come see me tomorrow morning. Well, if I'm not here in the morning, I will try to make it back in the afternoon or evening.
