I\'m Back
Well I am home. I thought it would be easiest to just post a journal entry and let folks know that. I had an episode Monday night while at work and decided that it was time to go to the hospital and get some kind of help even if it was wrong. I went to the ER and ended up on the Psyche Unit. I have now been formally diagnosed with BP2 (rapid cycling). The doctor changed all my meds and I am doing some better. I guess I am doing a lot better since they let me come home. It was a hard time while there and I hope I never have to go back. I know that it was beneficial and now I finally feel like I am moving forward in getting my life back. Hopefully it won't take forever to get the meds all right and I will be feeling like a 'normal' human being again soon. Guess my sponsor was right all along. Imagine that! Just kidding with ya! Anyway.....I am home and will be taking some time off from work. Doctors orders. Thanks for all the messages and hugs.

i\'m sorry that you had to go through that, but now things will improve and life can go on, in some normality. i hope that the new meds kick in fast and that all the rapid cycling slows down, plus your doing great with giving up the bottle, you should be proud of yourself with what you have achieved, you are doing the right thing for yourself, and i feel that the universe is supporting you. take care and keep on keeping on. love and hugs Carol
you (we) were right! wow! at least when you were having the hallucinations you knew they were not real plus you were sober. i am so happy you got a diagnosis. now you can get busy on the road of life. hope the meds kick in very soon and our friend is back full time with us.
