I'm Almost there

This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it.  So I got up this morning, called to check on Yoni who has pneumonia was not so pleased with the progress report but I know God has my little angel in the palm of his hands and she will soon be on the mend.  I got dressed, talked to hubby, made sure my son called his daughter to check on her, said some prayers and out the door to the dr's i went for my PET  scan.  I was apprehensive as I left the house mentally putting the WLS on the back burner and focusing most of my attention on my heart.  I asked God to please touch me spiritually and calm my fears and he did.  When I got to the dr's the people were very nice - they explained everything to me and then began to prep me for the exam - it went over like a breeze.  Delores (the nurse/technician) who was in the room with me was such a sweetheart with such soothing power.  She made me laughed and made me very comfortable.  Despite the side affects from the meds, today was a blessing and like never before, I know God was in the mix.  My husband was by my side the whole time and I felt a sense of peace over me that I haven't felt in a while.
I came home felt loopy, had something to eat and began flushing my system to rid myself of the meds they injected in my body.  Now I am just lying here waiting for tomorrow to come.  I am not apprehensive nor am I worried tonight, because I've chosen to accept God's will for my life, whatever that is.  My reality is that  I have heart disease in my family, so I can't ignore the possibility that it may or may not affect me - so if the results are good that is a blessing if not then it is a blessing because I will know if something is wrong and will deal with that with God at the helm.  I have so much to live for and so many people who love me and I need to be 100 for myself and them.
If by chance I am ready and everything is a go then i will be super elated because i am mentally and emotionally ready and I accept that there will be those anxiety ridden moments that are "normal".  God knows my heart and he knows more than anybody how ready I am to do this.  So I as lay my head down to sleep tonight I place it all in his hand.
My plan for right now, this moment is to rest in the arms of the angels and sleep like a baby tonight.
Relieved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought about you the other day. How is it going. How long do you have now or have you crossed over to the losers club.
