I'm a paranormal investigator
When I was going through a divorce and found myself alone for the first time since having children, I decided to pursue an interest of mine that I have had for a very long time. I was/am very interested in the paranormal so I joined a group on meetup and decided I liked it but it was a little far from me and I hated driving by myself. I started my own group in October 2008 and have been doing well ever since. We have investigated many public places as a large group and we do private investigations of homes. So if you have something going on in your home and you are close to Anne Arundel County in Maryland then message me and we can talk. During this time we also did several conferences, lectures, and was on the tv show My Ghost Story this year. We have appeared in magazines, radio shows, newspaper articles, and books. I love what I do and the work behind it. Paranormal investigations for private homes shouldn't cost anything and if you have someone that tries to charge you then look for someone else as this should be done for free.
One day I hope to open a shop/museum and make a living on it but for now I am happy doing what I am doing.

Because I am open to possibility, I share your interest in paranormal but have not investigated it as you have.
And in that vein of possibility I must ask, though it sounds far-fetched, do you think there is any kind of connection at all between the paranormal and abuse?
The question does sound far-fetched but I remind myself frequently that we don\'t know what we don\'t know.

Thanks for the comment. No I don\'t think there is any connection between the two. In my life it is two separate things and I keep them that way for the most part. I do ask for support from my paranormal friends on the abuse but not the other way around. You should try an investigation sometime as it is very exciting when you get some evidence.
