I\'ll be MIA a little

I just wanted to write in here while I have a few minutes before work..... and hope it doesn't disappear. We are in the middle of closing down at work at the moment, so I have a hell of a lot to do.  I started handing out notice of termination yesterday.  That wasn't fun.  I also had 3 meetings to attend with staff, residents' families and staff at the new facility that the residents will be moving to.  Long day!!!! Today I have arranged a couselling support session for staff, have a Board meeting I have to finish preparing for, and help some staff prepare CVs-as many of them don't even have one, being at our facility for over 10 years and in some cases over 20 years.  I also have a meeting with the Board President to sort out some of the issues relating to who stays and who goes, and how long we'll be decommissioning for. I should be driving to town for my own psych visit tomorrow, lol.  But I'm going to cancel.  I don't have time just at the minute, and my body is not in such great shape to be driving for close to 4 hours round trip either.  Plus my brain is ok at the minute (I am coping really well all things considered)  I think keeping busy and being challenged has been the  best thing for me personally.  NOT great for my body - but definitely good for the brain. I actually got Rick to do the dishes last night, yay!!!  I told him I need him to help me more.  I think he got the hint.   My 2yo expensive TV is playing up and needs to be repaired, so I bought a smaller much cheaper one on the weekend to replace it temporarily and will put it in my room when the big one is repaired, but it's being a little tempramental in the mornings..... grrrr!!!  My less than 2yo vacuum blew up on Sunday!!!! So  that's going back to the shop with the TV.  I've had 2 laptops in 2 years...... what's going on?????????  Is it me????   I reckon I have this electronic force field happening hehehhe.  Thought it's not really funny - it's too bloody expensive to be funny. So.... I'd better head off and get ready for work.  But, I just wanted my friends to know that,  I'll try and drop in and out, but I may not get the chance either.  So if I don't...... I'm sorry.  I always miss chatting to my friends if I can't get here for a few days.  But I'll be thinking of you.

Busy, busy, busy little bee you are! I am glad you are handling it all efficiently and not letting it get to you!! That\'s a good thing.
I have that \"thing\" when it comes to watches, tv\'s, dishwashers and vacumn cleaners-- even my sewing machine broke two weeks ago, UGH! No money for repairs or replacements at the moment, so the LIST gets longer, lol. oh well, no reason to fret.
luv ya kiddo!

I\'m pleased to hear that you are coping okay with all of this, emotionally. I get the electrical things buzzing out on me all at once too. It used to annoy the heck out of me, until one day my acupuncturist told me that it happens when we spiritually go up a notch. When we move from one emotional/spiritual plane to the next one because of lessons learned in life, we are the cause of the electrical faults. So I guess in a way that is a good thing, although the bills and inconvenience aren\'t so great. Don\'t let your own psych appointments drop. It is too easy to think \"I am going well\" and let them drop, but the reason we do so well is because of all those incidental health things. Just be careful that you don\'t let yourself suffer because of looking after everyone else!

Thanks girls - I appreciate your comments.
I went to a new myotherapist this morning - I think it helped a little. Got another appointment next Saturday. There\'s lots happening, and a busy weekend this weekend too.
