I'll be home for Christmas... and not in my dreams!

SO excited! I wasn't admitted today (I know that was my plan but this turned out better) and I did start feeling a little better last night around 11pm. I actually ate a frozen waffle! I need to have some tests and also see an ENT at BIDMC for my continual laryngitis. Guess GERD can really screw you up! And I do take protonix twice a day - it's just not enough. So I have a new doc up there to see. Then when all the info is back, we have choices.
I'm grateful I'll be home for Xmas! The thought of having to stay so far away and be alone (well, amidst strangers) just SUCKED but I was willing to do it. This way seems better!
I was mentioning to Dr. Brown if we could get the tests done on the same day (save gas money, time off from work, etc) since we're just sooo broke. And that since I'm not getting admitted, we're going to see the HOBBIT again for our Xmas gift to each other. We couldn't afford a tree or gifts this year. Then Dr. Brown runs out to his car and give us FOUR movie tickets!!! Who does that? I'm so touched and grateful. Yeah! So, we'll have a much much better Xmas than anticipated. Now, just have to get over getting disowned by inlaws. But whatever!

Yeah, I\'m exhausted but inside am flying high! Now we\'ll have some gift for Xmas! I know that\'s not really what the season is about but we\'ve always had a little something. And also stuff from the families, which won\'t be happening this year. So this is extra special. And SO unexpected! I thought Dr. B hated me! Guess I don\'t read him well.
